Job Title: Project Manager - International Contractor Deployment
Location: Mooresville, NC (On-site | Monday-Friday)
Position Summary
We are seeking a mission-driven and highly organized Project Manager to oversee the deployment of contractors supporting government, humanitarian, and commercial clients around the globe. This role serves as the central link between recruiting, operations, and business development-ensuring contractors are efficiently identified, onboarded, and successfully deployed to international assignments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in government agencies, military service, or federal protective services, with a deep understanding of operational demands and compliance requirements in sensitive or high-stakes environments. This is an on-site role based in Mooresville, NC, requiring excellent coordination skills and experience managing fast-paced, high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Delivery
Manage the full lifecycle of contractor deployment from identification through onboarding and international mobilization.
Track staffing needs and delivery timelines across multiple client projects.
Ensure alignment across recruiting, operations, and business development teams to support seamless execution.
Recruiting Coordination
Collaborate with recruiters to prioritize roles based on awarded contracts and deployment schedules.
Monitor candidate progress in the ATS/HRIS system to ensure pipeline readiness.
Review military and security qualifications to ensure candidate suitability for specific project needs.
Onboarding & Compliance
Oversee onboarding tasks including contracts, NDAs, background checks, and medical clearances.
Coordinate travel, visa, and logistical needs for overseas deployment in partnership with the operations team.
Ensure compliance with client-specific regulations, international labor laws, and internal policies.
Stakeholder & Client Communication
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners regarding deployment status and updates.
Develop and maintain tracking dashboards and reports for internal use and client delivery.
Provide feedback and insights to recruiting and business development teams to enhance future contractor alignment and readiness.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in project management or operations, preferably in a defense contracting or recruiting environment.
Background in government agencies, military service, or federal protective services is required.
Preferred: Prior service or support experience with Special Forces or elite military units.
Strong understanding of military career paths, terminology (e.g., MOS, deployments), and contractor vetting standards.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
Familiarity with ATS and HRIS platforms.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
U.S. Citizenship is required; active security clearance is a strong plus.
Preferred Experience
Experience managing deployments for security, defense, or humanitarian projects.
Direct experience working with or recruiting Special Operations or military personnel.
Knowledge of international mobilization processes, including visas, travel logistics, and in-country compliance.
