The Senior Inventory Control Specialist is a critical role in STERIS. This position is not a direct day to day shop floor execution position, but a position that has been developed to assure our direct shop floor execution team is operating as optimal as possible. This position assures our financial policies are executed, our daily practices are audited for accuracy, and ultimately that our practices are of the caliber required at Steris. The role works collaboratively with key business partners to ensure identified challenges are addressed timely. Interacting with Purchasing, Planning, Distribution, Operations, Engineering to rectify identified errors in Data, practice, or policy all while meeting business requirements. SHIFT: 6am - 2:30pm What You'll Do as a Senior Inventory Control Specialist:
Experience, Skills, Abilities:
Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. 5 years warehouse, inventory control, or related disciplines experience required. Ability to become forklift certified. General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS. Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced, changing environment. Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance. Pay rate for this opportunity is $23 - 27hr.This position is eligible forbonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
