Job Summary |
Seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Cary Center Community and Collegiate Programs Intern. In this role, you will be responsible for developing marketing plans, organizing events, managing databases, coordinating with vendors and speakers, and actively assisting in all Community and Collegiate programs and events. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to our organization's mission of supporting the community and fostering educational growth. |
Essential Functions |
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans for Community and Collegiate programs and events to maximize outreach and participation.
- Design and implement engaging social media campaigns to promote Community and Collegiate programs and events, leveraging various platforms and strategies.
- Assist with the setup and technical requirements for Community and Collegiate programs, ensuring all necessary equipment and resources are available and functioning properly.
- Organize and maintain databases of Cary Center Nonprofit Affiliates, keeping accurate records and ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute Community and Collegiate programs and events, ensuring smooth coordination and timely execution.
- Create visually appealing printed materials for promotional purposes and collaborate with external vendors to produce high-quality materials.
- Communicate effectively with program speakers, donors, and nonprofit leaders to provide event details, gather necessary information, and ensure their involvement in programs and events.
- Attend all Community and Collegiate programs and events, actively assisting in various tasks to ensure their success, such as registration, logistics, and participant engagement.

Minimum Qualifications |
Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student. |
Preferred Qualifications |
- Some professional work experience preferred
- Technical skills in Word, Excel, Canva etc.
- Good organizational skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with social media platforms
