POSITION SUMMARY: In this role you will leverage procurement knowledge and processes to drive assigned business projects on behalf of the organization. The scope of projects is broad, with a heavy focus on innovation and varying degrees of technical complexity. For each project, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements for prioritization, manage the end-to-end timeline for procurement activities, and manage stakeholders cross functionally and within procurement. You will actively engage with cross-functional project teams to clearly communicate sourcing options, sourcing constraints, supply risks, costs and mitigation strategies as they relate to the project. You will apply best practices to ensure all parties are aligned, tasks are completed on time, and risks are identified early. You will be responsible for driving accountability, managing several projects with varied timelines, influencing without authority, and managing change throughout the business and procurement function through aligned tools, processes, and ways of working. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand business requirements, challenges, priorities, and key deliverables for each assigned project.
- Assist in building business strategy to translate needs of business to procurement function.
- Own and measure procurement and project priorities towards identified KPI's. Report progress and escalate risks to Procurement leadership, business partners, and project stakeholders as appropriate.

- Serve as a representative of Procurement in cross-functional meetings in assigned projects and/or business areas.
- Seek and provide proactive feedback regarding procurement activities to enable proper mitigation strategies and solutions to drive project success.
- Manage information flow between the relevant business partner and category teams to effectively deliver against project objectives.
- Track activities and hold owners accountable for on-time completion, escalate as needed to stay on track.
- Develop a deeper understanding and expertise of the assigned businesses' challenges, opportunities, consumer and industry trends.
- Develop a network of relationships across the business, category teams, and relevant functional groups to support the business MBS.
- Accountable for managing and executing successful completion of procurement activities in innovation and renovation projects and other special projects assigned in support of business and functional priorities.
EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years procurement and/or material management experience preferred
- Experience managing ambiguity, changing priorities and working cross functionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, PPT, and Excel
- Experience with digital tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Copilot and Chat GPT preferred
- SAP, experience preferred
