This is a critical leadership role as Sechan continues to expand operations across a wide variety of Programs and Contracts. The leader will drive internal initiatives across complex, cross-functional aerospace and defense projects, ensuring coordination, governance, and budget oversight.
The leader will spend time communicating with internal stakeholders to coordinate, unblock execution and drive initiatives that enable the growth of the business aligned with the Strategic goals and Corporate metrics.
This role is key to scaling Sechan's business excellence, offering the individual an opportunity to take full ownership of various processes while driving measurable impact across a growing business. This individual will support and grow the One Sechan, One Team culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Position Responsibilities:
* Own and drive various initiatives that support the business strategy to solidify and build upon the foundation that has been created. These initiatives support the Corporate metrics that have been identified to enable growth.
* Drive coordination and resolution across internal teams (e.g., engineering, supply chain, information systems, operations, finance, program management, business development) to unblock execution and maintain quality & delivery momentum. Report out to Executive Leadership.
* Lead execution governance by establishing clear cadences for cross-functional coordination, executive reporting, and accountability.
* Assist in various audits and inspections of Government property and systems, as required.
* Maintains general knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR) and other agency and department FAR supplements.
* Lead change and continuous improvement initiatives necessary for improved organizational effectiveness.
* Works cross-functionally throughout the company to drive Business Excellence (e.g., drive a continuous improvement mindset, accelerate time to market, identify faults early to rectify, identify and address inventory and government/customer furnished equipment).
* Participates in the Corrective Action Board (CAB), Internal Audit Program, and/or metrics development.
* Assists in Root Cause and Corrective & Preventative Action analysis, responses and implementations.
* Performs other duties as assigned to support business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher with 10+ years of professional experience within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or adjacent, high-complexity/regulated fields.
* Proven ability to independently manage large bodies of work while surfacing blockers and driving cross-functional resolution.
* Proven experience leading and mentoring teams, with a demonstrated ability to scale teams while fostering accountability, growth, and alignment with company goals.
* Demonstrated experience interacting with business VPs, Directors, Managers, cross-functional peers, coworkers, and the business as a lead Point of Contact, while working in a "Team" environment.
* Ability to work across organizational boundaries to ensure that program, operational, and business goals are achieved.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, and build lasting relationships.
* Diligent and proactive approach to problem solving.
* General knowledge of scheduling and invoicing systems a plus.
* General knowledge of business law and contractual requirements a plus.
* Experience in a federal contract work environment a plus.
* Ability obtain and maintain a Secret secret-level security clearance; current active Secret clearance preferred.
Work Environment:
* Office Environment: Requires physical capability to work in an office environment including sit/stand up to 9 hours a day and use basic office tools such as a computer, copier/printer, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
* Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Thursday; Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with additional hours as needed to meet demand. Occasional off-shift hours may also be required to provide support to operations.
