Job Summary

The grant funded position strives to further the SCC (Strengthening Community Colleges) Program's goal with a focus on serving older youth using an early college high school model, TCC's SCC3 project will build a pipeline to high-demand and high-wage engineering technology jobs, such as industrial maintenance technician, to close equity and skills gaps within the Tulsa region's Advanced Manufacturing sector. The grant manager will implement grant activities in support of the project scope of work and attainment of targeted outcomes related to participation, completion, credential attainment, and employment adhering to compliance requirements identified by the College and the grantor.


Essential Duties

Manage the project timeline. Submit reports and other required grant records and documentation by established deadlines.

Facilitate engagement with external employer/industry partners in coordination with appropriate TCC administrators and faculty during pathway development, charter and sustainability plan development.

Manage the project budget and collaborate with Grant Accounting staff regarding monthly reconciliation and financial reporting.

Maintain accurate, complete, and timely participant and grant documentation. Maintain all data collection, including the participant data tracking system and all required grant metrics, not limited to documentation of student progress, attainment of academic credentials and industry certifications, completion of training, and employment.

Lead communication and maintain ongoing scheduled contact and meetings with all grant participants.

Participate in grant-related meetings and activities in order to assist the Dual Credit Dept. with communication of requirements to other College departments and stakeholders.

Oversee student support practices and the administration of student testing, as applicable, to help ensure persistence and successful completion of education, certificates, and training activities.

Coordinate with the dual credit office to engage education partners within Tulsa county high schools who will support participant outreach and recruitment, orientation, and follow-up processes with Dual Credit Programs.


Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in workforce education, workforce development, education administration or leadership, organizational management, or career and technical education or related field.

3 years project management experience.

1 year grant management experience, including reporting, compliance, and/or budget management.

Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills.

Proficient technology skills in MS applications. Must be able to use Excel at an intermediate to advanced level, and database management.

Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and to collaborate with internal and external teams.

3 years work experience in a community college setting and/or with underserved youth.

Driving in Tulsa county.

Ability to Lift and carry up to 15 pounds.

Require The grant manager will office at TCC Northeast Campus, but will frequently travel to industry partner sites, high schools, and other TCC campuses. There will also be annual out-of-state travel.

Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed; requirement to do so will be minimal.


Preferred Qualifications

CAPM or MPM certification.

Doctoral degree (Ph.D., J.D., Ed.D.) in workforce education, workforce development, education administration or leadership, organizational management, or career and technical education or related field.

Federal Grant management experience.

Ability to translate Spanish.
