Title: Operator Loadout

Reports to: Feed Mill Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Feed Mill Manager

Summary Description: Operate equipment to load finished feed onto feed trailers.

Essential Job Functions / Duties:

1) Perform all duties in a safe manner consistent with company Policy & Procedures and safety training.

2) Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.

3) Monitor inventories of ingredients and finished feeds (as required).

4) Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas consistent with the Housekeeping Program.

5) Perform general labor duties as assigned or needed by management.

6) Collect all required samples as defined in Quality Control Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures.

7) Perform all required testing as set forth in the Standard Operating Procedures.

8) Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.

9) Operate equipment to load finished feed onto feed trailers.

10) Input information into computer automation system accurately.

11) Operate equipment, automatically or manually, via computer automation consistent with Standard Operating Procedures.

12) Perform all job functions consistent with Safety Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Control Program, and Food Safety Program.

Secondary Functions / Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management. Must attend scheduled safety meetings and other training meetings.

1) Must be task oriented and a self-starter with ability to follow detailed instructions.

2) Must have ability to handle paperwork with accuracy.

3) Ability to operate a forklift or other material handling equipment.

Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Good reading, writing, math and communication skills required.

Physical / Mental Requirements:

1) Must be able to swing sledgehammer and carry 55-pound ingredient bags.

2) Ability to work at heights and climb stairs and ladders.

3) Ability to work in confined spaces

4) Ability to work in any weather environment.
