Minimum Experience/Education |
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 1-3 years of professional marketing experience, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit environment
- Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and digital analytics tools
- Basic experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email marketing platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: |
- 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or digital advertising, ideally within a university or public sector setting
- Hands-on experience supporting digital ad campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and LinkedIn
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, A/B testing, and performance reporting
- Strong copywriting, project coordination, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Duties and Responsibilities |
The Temporary Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing and Communications team in the planning and execution of marketing and communications efforts that support the goals of the School of Professional Studies. This full-time role (40 hours per week) is ideal for a detail-oriented, creative, and collaborative professional. The coordinator will help to develop and manage content for digital and print campaigns, support paid advertising initiatives, and contribute to department-wide marketing strategies across multiple platforms.

Other Work/Responsibilities |
The Marketing Coordinator will assist the team in the following areas:
- Developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, email, web, and print
- Creating, scheduling, and managing content for social media and search engine marketing campaigns (approximately 3-5 posts or campaigns per week)
- Collaborating with team members and campus partners to develop targeted promotional strategies for academic programs and events
- Supporting the creation of content for flyers, postcards, newsletters, website updates, and video scripts
- Assisting in drafting and editing email content using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and monitoring performance metrics
- Coordinating and tracking campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, and native social media reporting dashboards
- Maintaining editorial calendars and ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and tone across all communications
- Assisting in the development and testing of digital ad campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads
- Monitoring trends in higher education marketing and digital communications to help inform future strategies
