Research Assistant II Newborn Medicine

Functioning under the supervision of an experienced qualitative researcher, a research group affiliated with the DRCR lab (https://www.drcrlab.com/) is looking to hire one part-time qualitative research assistant.
Provides assistance on work related to epidemiological studies and other population-based research not related to clinical trials or laboratory.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conducting inductive thematic analysis of interview transcripts (will include: code book development, interview coding, and theme analysis)
* Attending weekly meetings with qualitative analysis team during weekday work hours
* Devoting independent time to work on this project per week

Education
Bachelor's Degree Science required

Experience
Relevant research and data management experience 1+ years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Careful attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize a variety of tasks.
- Intermediate computer literacy including database tools.
- Knowledge of data management programs.
- Ability to follow directions and exhibit professionalism, and work more independently.
