Functional Analyst - Compliance

Full-time | IT | Location - Olathe, KS, 66022

As a Functional Analyst Compliance at TVH, your primary role involves integrating the company's Compliance and Global Trade Management component with different other components in the TVH ecosystem. This role is crucial in collecting, understanding, analyzing and specifying technical processes and corporate needs, translating them into functional requirements and configure where required. You'll report and work closely with the Compliance Product Owner, designing future-proof functional solutions, ensuring they align with business lines, product strategy and current integrations.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You'll deliver short and long-term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:

  • Elicit and document various types of requirements (business, functional) to ensure clear and concise functional specifications.

  • Collect requirements, understand compliance and trade processes, and specify the technical processes based on these requirements and processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand corporate needs and translate them into functional requirements.

  • Drive the squad in its understanding of all user stories in order to make sure that the squad can make an accurate and realistic estimate of the story.

  • Design future-proof functional solutions that take into account the global context of different business lines in order to have a solid basis for future implementations.

  • Update and maintain professional knowledge and demonstrate up-to-date expertise on the company processes within the assigned functional domain in order to do profound research and recommend (alternative) solutions and improvements for the benefit of the organization.

  • Assist the product owner and product manager in the functional area by providing follow-up and guidance of development and implementation of new or modified features.

  • Ability to communicate technical information to individuals with non-technical backgrounds/experience and present results to internal stakeholders.

  • Pay attention to detail with proficient organization and time management skills.

  • Work with developers to ensure solutions are delivered on time and to a high quality.

  • Demo new capabilities and lead change adoption within the organization.

HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

We're looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:

  • Two+ years experience performing a substantially similar role working in functional analysis or business process management

  • Prefer experience with trade management/global compliance

  • Bachelor or Master degree from a college or university in Business, Information Technology, Management, Business Administration, or comparable experience (Preferred)

  • Earlier experience of IT systems, knowledge of supply chain and forecasting processes is a plus, but not a must.

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

  • Strong team player with good communication skills; committed to transparency and collaboration.

  • Attention to detail with proficient organization and time management skills.

  • Experience in Agile methodologies and practices.

  • Ability to collaborate in an effective, positive manner with employees at all levels across the organization.

  • Engage in occasional travel (10-20%) for project collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
