Job Purpose |
The Data Management Coordinator plays an essential role in the Honors College's ability to assess and create meaningful experiences for Honors College students. This position will manage our enrollment, degree completion, advising, alumni, and orientation data utilizing AI to increase workflow efficiency. The Coordinator will also assist with strategic communication/marketing and provide logistical and administrative support for Honors College initiatives, events, and partnerships. The position works in tandem with both the Associate Dean and Assistant Dean to support the Honors College mission. |
Minimum Requirements |
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 2-5 years of relevant professional experience. Preference for candidates who have demonstrated experience in data management, marketing, and communication. Candidates should be proficient in the use of AI software including but not limited to ChatGPT and Grammarly. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply. |
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse population; working knowledge of computing software and platforms (including productivity & collaboration suites like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace; design and information tools like Canva and WordPress; social media platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn; higher education enterprise resource planning systems like Ellucian Banner). Ability to interact professionally and effectively with students, staff, faculty and other key stakeholders; ability to prioritize, to focus on most important obligations, and to multi-task. Must possess independent judgement and initiative and be willing to learn about higher education policies and best practices. Ability to problem solve, adapt, and take initiative. |
Additional Comments Regarding Position |
Generally, this is a 37.5-40 hours/wk position; however, must have flexibility to adjust or work extra hours on the weekends or evenings to supervise programming activities or attend key events for the Honors College. |
