Description

Markon is seeking a results-oriented and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our client's enterprise IT architecture by leading the development and management of technical IT standards.



Responsibilities

    Lead the design and implementation of the client's IT standards process.

  • Ensure standards are technically accurate, relevant, and aligned with enterprise architecture goals.

  • Apply best practices in technical project management to deliver high-quality standards on schedule.

  • Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

  • Set a strong personal example of professionalism and technical leadership.

  • Engage with multiple stakeholders to modernize and enhance the IT standards process.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical groups.



Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience, or Master's with 10-13 years
  • Minimum 3 years of IT project management experience
  • Proven experience managing projects with deliverables

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data management
  • Experience leading software development teams
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in or supporting the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • Strong ownership mindset and mission focus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable leading peers and briefing senior leaders
  • Strong planning skills with a track record of meeting deadlines


Salary Range

USD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
