Compensation Grade: P13Compensation Details: Minimum: $50,456.00 - Maximum: $50,456.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OHEHR) AI - AIDS InstituteJob Description: In addition to the Compensation Details above, the incumbent in this position will be eligible to receive location pay ($4,000/year). Responsibilities The Health Program Aide will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Division of HIV and Hepatitis Health Care programs. Responsibilities include coordination of schedules and calendars, scheduling meetings and conference calls (in-person and virtually), screening telephone calls and triaging as necessary, performing data entry using internal databases, filing, assisting with preparing PowerPoint presentation slides, meeting handouts, and, assembling and printing reports, assisting with coordination and administrative development of materials for internal and external partners, handling travel arrangements, performing purchasing tasks, maintaining office systems and assisting with other appropriate related duties. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and one year of general office, secretarial, or administrative experience OR three years of such experience. Preferred Qualifications Proficient using software including Microsoft products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Access, Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint) for the preparation of documents, graphs, slides, presentations and spreadsheets; at least one year of experience answering multi-line telephones for multiple staff; at least one year of experience managing calendars and scheduling meetings; at least one year of experience using virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams and Web Ex; at least one year of experience performing data entry and handling sensitive/confidential information; at least two years of experience with supervision. Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, up to 10% of the time, may be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
