We're seeking a future team member for the role of Portfolio Manager to join our Wealth Investment Management team. This role is located in Boston, MA In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Successfully manage assigned client relationships which could include personal trust, agency, estate, charitable, pension and institutional accounts with the primary objectives of structuring client investment portfolios to meet expectations for asset allocation, risk assumption, and investment performance
- Manage assets in various structures, including cash and/or index funds, assisting senior portfolio managers as needed.
- Independently implement investment strategies consistent with client financial goals, risk tolerance, investment policies, and applicable regulations
- Collaborate with research, strategy teams, portfolio teams, and serve as a liaison with internal departments, Senior Portfolio Managers, and global analysts.
- Evaluate investment performance and make timely portfolio adjustments to meet investment objectives and allocation guidelines.
- Meet with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategies, discuss performance, and review current market conditions.
- Monitor compliance with investment guidelines and objectives, providing attribution analysis for tracking error.
- Contribute to team and firm profitability by supporting client retention and expansion through superior investment performance and client service.
- In addition, s/he must be able to execute PWM's investment and asset allocation process across all asset classes.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelors or advanced degree or equivalent experience and 3-5 years of experience in the investment/fiduciary management industry. CFA, CFP, CPA, CTFA, National Graduate Trust School preferred.
- Sound general technical proficiency. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and frequent systems enhancements. Comprehensive Excel and PowerPoint skills are necessary.
- High-level interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak and present to groups publicly. Formal client presentation experience is preferred.
Inherent curiosity and drive to understand the world financial markets, investments, and the forces that impact the global economy, both inside and outside of their employment. - Excellent communication skills: able to communicate complex investment topics in a simple understandable format.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $87,600 and $162,200 per year at the commencement of employment.
