Physician Assistant or Acute Care NP, RNFA - GYN/GYN Oncology OR Shift: Full-Time (40 hours) Schedule: Days (NO weekends, holidays, nights, call) Excellent full-time opportunity available for a physician assistant or acute care nurse practitioner with registered nurse first assistant to join our Gynecology and Gynecologic oncology teams of highly-trained surgeons with access to the latest technology, treatments, and state-of-the-art facilities at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Johns Hopkins Hospital is an urban teaching hospital consisting of 1,100 beds with a medical staff of 2,100 full time physicians plus many more APPs. Summary The Division of Gynecology and Obstetrics at The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking an Advance Practice Provider (APP) to collaborate within a multidisciplinary health team, serving as a first assistant in robotic and laparoscopic cases. In this role, the provider will work in the operating room with gynecological oncology and minimally invasive gynecological surgeons (MIGS) as a surgical first assistant in robotic and laparoscopic cases. Some assistance with open cases may be required. Responsibilities encompass perioperative management. Accountability for time management, professional relationships, and interpersonal interactions is integral. Salary Range: Minimum $53.15/hour - Maximum $82.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
