Summary
The role of Senior Manager, Finance is to lead financial strategic planning, reporting and analysis in partnership with Ostomy Business Team with specific functional partnership with Global Quality. This individual will partner with global leaders to "get underneath" the Ostomy and Global Quality numbers to help management understand key trends in the operating results, provide financial alignment with strategic objectives, and drive strategic decisions in areas including new product commercialization, marketing initiatives and product quality initiatives. Hollister Incorporated is operating in a hybrid-working environment.

Responsibilities



  1. Ostomy StrategicPlanning, Annual Operating Planning and Analysis

    • Complete the Strategic Plan financials for the Global Ostomy product business, including supporting alignment across the regional business units and with the overall Ostomy strategic objectives, including share gain expectations in comparison to competitors. Highlight gaps and opportunities.
    • Review and analyze sales and gross margin reasonableness by analyzing price, volume and mix assumptions (including product, country and customer, as available). Understand and drive volume alignment between demand planning and supply planning to manage capacity and backorders at a global level.
    • Understand new product introductions and discontinuations and their impact on expected financial trends, including growth and cannibalization
    • Review and align country market templates, including the reasonableness of global Ostomy market growth. Reconcile gaps in understanding with local business units and the Ostomy Business leaders
    • Submit and reconcile Strategic Plan financials timely in cooperation with Corporate FP&A
    • Review the Annual Operating Plans for reasonableness and alignment with the Strategic Plan, including market share gains and product level trends
    • Support the leaders in the Ostomy business in preparing key analytics and reporting


  2. Quality Function financial partnership

    • Updated and analyze quality trends and KPIs in collaboration with functional leadership. Complete financial analysis and insights for leadership review.
    • Oversee monthly financial results and provide insights to Quality leadership, driving actions and improvements as required.
    • Drive process improvements in quality forecasting models.
    • Collaborate and provide financial oversight and analysis for key initiatives , including alignment with strategic objectives and priorities


  3. Business Partnership

    • Analyze key business trends and provide insights to leaders and local teams as necessary
    • Leverage global tools to improve financial analysis standardization and best practices
    • Partner with leaders to drive key strategic initiatives through effective analysis and monitoring of results
    • Provide ad-hoc analyses and special project support upon request


  4. Reporting

    • Timely complete the monthlyOperating Committee reporting for Ostomy and Quality (as required), including insights on current business trends, accomplishments and issues.
    • Complete Board of Directors reporting, as requested





Essential Functions of the Role



  • This role is an office position, primarily sedentary
  • Use a personal computer and strong proficiency in Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, and Word
  • Travel via plane or automobile (approximately 10-20% of time)
  • Ability to lead a team



Work Experience Requirements



  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 8-12
  • 7-10 years of Finance experience



Education Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent

  • Ability to effectively partner with Ostomy Business Team, Quality leadership and other global leaders including Finance.

Benefits Statement:

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $126,946 - $181,351. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
  • This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Corporate Bonus Plan. The Company also provides a unique Benefit of Employee Share Ownership Program (BESOP) program based on earnings and length of service.
