Assistant Director, Client Experience Strategy

On our team, as an Assistant Director of Client Experience Strategy you will be a thought partner in the development of client-centered strategies; you will also support cross-functional teams to drive business impact through multi-year planning and transparency into progress against plans. This role partners with leaders across multiple teams including Planning, Digital, Research, Data, Financial Product (Risk and Investments), and Enterprise Strategy to make strategic recommendations. You will sit at the intersection of consumer insights, strategy, and business planning & operations to bring our differentiated client experience to life.

Key focus areas include:

  • Collaborate to define, launch, and drive strategic client initiatives, including but not limited to: customer experience visioning, multi-year planning, consumer insights & research, OKR articulation, etc.
  • Use structured problem-solving to develop and drive recommendations through to implementation and results; default to solving problems with a business-led approach and using data insights to formulate hypothesis statements.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional team members, such as helping establish shared outcomes, including measurable OKRs that track progress across large portfolios and teams.
  • Conduct strategic planning across large portfolios of work; conduct portfolio analysis and prioritization to advise strategic priorities.
  • Prepare and deliver executive updates, articulating insights and synthesizing complex ideas into crisp concepts and action plans.
  • Imagine the future of our organization and build visualizations (e.g., storyboards, vignettes, interactive figmas) with our partners
  • Expert management and organization to independently lead distinct bodies of work and/or projects, including anticipating business needs beyond immediate next steps and connecting the strategy to execution.

What this role needs:

We are looking for dedicated and driven candidates who can be successful in a highly matrixed organization and a collaborative team approach. You'll partner to define, drive, and operationalize CXD's strategy and business outcomes. The ideal candidate can lead through ambiguity, connect the dots, and define and deconstruct problems.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience (financial services experience a plus)
  • 3+ years of strategy experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher

Desired qualifications:

  • Prior experience working within management consulting
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and make decisions with limited information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including advanced PowerPoint skills and proficient Excel skills
  • Experience defining multidisciplinary strategies that leverage frameworks in a fast-paced environment; ability to work within tight timelines
  • Effective thought leadership skills and business acumen
  • Experience presenting to executives and proficient storytelling skills
  • Ability to effectively lead, partner with and optimally influence senior executives and other partners at all levels across the matrixed organization
  • Willingness for travel as necessary

Compensation Range:

Pay Range - Start:

$117,390.00

Pay Range - End:

$218,010.00

Geographic Specific Pay Structure:

210 - Structure 110: 112,280.00 USD - 208,520.00 USD 210 - Structure 115: 117,390.00 USD - 218,010.00 USD
