POSITION TITLE: Staff Accountant

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the corporate accounting team. This role is responsible for preparing general ledger entries, preparing financial statements and analyzing the financial impact of operational decision on the company finances. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, organized and customer centric, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments
  • Has advanced understanding of the accounting system and workflows; performs system audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy across modules
  • Analyzes information by developing spreadsheet reports, verifying information, and auditing systems
  • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files, and reconciling accounts
  • Assists in analyzing the financial impact of operational business decisions and issues affecting the company; provides suggestions when requested
  • Research and resolve account reconciliation discrepancies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • Corporate headquarters is located at: 18777 US Highway 66 Pacific, MO 63069
  • This position operates out of a temperature-controlled office environment
  • This position may be required to use standard office equipment such as phones, computers, printers, etc.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:



  • 3-5+ years of Accounting experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required


The starting pay for this position is $60,000 and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
