Job Summary: The Project Manager oversees the development and execution of airport advertising programs, ensuring installations are completed on time, within budget, and meet Clear Channel Airports' standards. The role involves managing independent contractors and subcontractors, handling significant capital projects, and liaising with airport staff for approvals. Key goals include maintaining strong airport relationships, optimizing project management, and ensuring program growth through effective planning and execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain relationships with airport personnel and oversee the transition of existing inventory to Clear Channel ownership.
- Hire, train, and manage independent contractors and third-party vendors for airport display maintenance and installations.
- Present program designs for airport approval, manage inventory during construction, and ensure timely, budget-conscious completion of advertising display programs.
- Oversee and manage project budgets, including capital expenditures, maintenance, and repairs, using Procore Construction Management software.
- Collaborate with sales managers to develop advertiser locations, optimize revenue, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and Tenant Coordinators to define project scope.
- Plan, delegate, and monitor project tasks, supervise construction teams, and ensure project goals are met.
- Drive company strategic initiatives and act as a key change agent for operational improvements.
- Conceptualize and communicate strategic solutions to gain buy-in and create measurable impact.
Job Qualifications Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education,training, experience, or military experience
- Previous construction or contractor experience required
- Project management certification and/or experience required
- Four (4) - year college degree in a related field or two (2)- year specialized technical degree required
- Customer service-related experience desirable
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, process improvement, or business analysis.
- PMP Certification Recommended.
- Experience working with public entities.
- Proficiency in project management software.
Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering blueprints, understand general building codes and permitting procedures, and possess industry experience for informed decision-making.
- Expertise in budgeting, time management, risk assessment, and problem-solving, enabling effective management of multiple projects under time constraints.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong leadership qualities, the ability to motivate and guide teams, exercise initiative and independent judgment, and adapt to changing project needs.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and CADD preferred.

- Must have the ability and documentation to travel domestic and internationally for up to two (2) weeks concurrently for project installs.
