*Job Category:* Project Manager (General) *Summary:* The *Research Project Manager* is responsible for leading and implementing projects that support strategic initiatives within a *research institute* and, when needed, across a *broader enterprise*. This role focuses on *process improvement, change management, and systems implementation*, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with institutional goals.
*Key Responsibilities:* * *Project Management:* Oversee assigned projects, including planning, scope, deliverables, timelines, communication, and training. * *Strategic Implementation:* Support the Program Manager in developing and executing plans for the project management office. * *Process Improvement:* Drive initiatives aimed at optimizing workflows, resource allocation, and operational efficiencies. * *Business Analysis & RFP Management:* Conduct financial assessments, project charters, RFPs, and vendor evaluations to support decision-making. * *Stakeholder Collaboration:* Educate and engage stakeholders on project methodologies, ensuring effective communication and project alignment. * *Risk Management:* Identify and mitigate risks, lead corrective actions, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. * *Metrics & Reporting:* Develop measurement strategies to assess *project effectiveness, ROI, and success metrics*. * *Team Leadership:* Guide cross-functional teams, assist in training, and oversee Business Analyst activities as required. *Required Qualifications:* * *Education:* Bachelor's degree. * *Experience:* 3+ years in project management, quality, or process improvement. *Preferred Qualifications:* * 5+ years in project management, process improvement, and business analysis. * 1+ year managing cross-functional teams. * Experience in healthcare or research-related environments. * PMP, CAPM, CSSGB, or CSSBB certifications. *Skills & Competencies:* * *Project Coordination & User Research* * *Relationship Management & Program Execution* * *Risk Mitigation & Compliance Oversight* * *Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Engagement* *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
