About This Role
The Senior Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role within the tower sales team, directly contributing to the achievement of tower revenue growth objectives. As the primary point of contact for prospective customers seeking to lease space on UScellular towers, the specialist will manage inbound inquiries, oversee the intake of customer applications, and coordinate initial pricing efforts. Additionally, the specialist will support sales leadership by delivering insightful data and reporting to inform business development strategies and performance analysis. The role will also manage relationships with smaller customers such as WISPs and government agencies.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve tower revenue growth targets for assigned customers.
- Develop and manage relationships with key customer contacts for assigned customers.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all prospective customer inquiries, ensuring prompt, accurate, and comprehensive responses to both new and existing customer requests.
- Act as the subject matter expert on all customer application and equipment-related issues, providing expert guidance to both external customers and internal business partners.
- Develop initial pricing estimates for all customer applications and verify final pricing prior to lease preparation and execution.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on customer contractual pricing and entitlements, ensuring accurate interpretation and application across all accounts.
- Analyze site and lease data to identify available RAD centers, ground space, and any applicable prime lease obligations.
- Generate routine reports on application pricing and volume, including analysis of trends, patterns, and potential issues.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives as needed, including email campaigns, social media content, and the development of presentation materials.
- Assist with all other tower customer support tasks as needed.
Salary Range $70000 - $113751 / yearly
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum seven years of experience in a comparable position at a tower company, telecom wireless carrier, or site acquisition company
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
- Proficient in MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Wireless industry experience, including working knowledge of wireless equipment
