Position Summary
Deliver comprehensive training on War Reserve Material Information Technology and Communications (WRM-IT/C) equipment to include Operational Medicine (OpMED) Window/Android Devices, Tactical Radio (RF) systems, and Satellite Communications (SATCOM) terminals systems to a diverse clientele, including military, civilian, and international customers
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct engaging training sessions that include lectures, hands-on laboratory work, and field exercises
Facilitate courses at the Lackland AFB Training Center and at various customer sites worldwide
Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time, domestic and international
Field incremental OpMed IT releases and ensures established infrastructure standards interface correctly for each release supported
Obtain application software from the AFOMIS PMO and perform installation on AFMS WRM hardware world-wide.

Ensure WRM-IT/C systems are maintained in a ready and capable state. This includes, but is not limited to, software or firmware updates, programming, operational checks, and battery maintenance.
Maintain records of WRM-IT/C equipment status, training attendance, and submit reports as required
Provide over the shoulder support when not conducting formal training; will research and improve teaching capability, emerging technologies and classroom teaching standard of practice as baseline activity
Support exercises with training support as requested; training support includes, but is not limited to, classroom training prior to exercise, over-the-shoulder support during exercise, and hotwash participation to effectively enhance adult learning and retention of training material
Perform "other duties as assigned" by the government deemed necessary for program success
Education and Certification Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field preferred, however, demonstrated equivalent technology training/service-related experience may be substituted
Experience Requirements:
Knowledge of L3Harris/Motorola/RF Communications (AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-163)DoD approved 8140 Baseline Certification desired or obtained within 6-months of hire
Knowledge of network systems administration, wireless networking, and IT support
Knowledge of L3Harris/Motorola/RF Communications (AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-163)
Experience with Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS). DMLSS system administrator experience desired
Experience with data extraction from Air Force Medical Logistics (medlog.us.af.mil) and LogiCole (logicole.health.mil) websites for reporting and analytics of OpMed IT equipment in AFMS WRM UTCs
A minimum of five (5) years healthcare IT training desired
