Where you will work: This position offers a hybrid work option (up to 50% remote) and is open to any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin, with the preferred office location being Lakeville, MN. The contributions you will make: This position is a senior enterprise leader responsible for aligning Compeer Financials' strategy with execution and driving measurable outcomes across the organization's most critical initiatives. The Vice President of Strategy Growth and Execution leads enterprise transformation efforts, guides performance tracking for strategic priorities, and ensures operational alignment across business units and enabling functions. Reporting directly to Compeer's Head of Strategy, this role collaborates with the Executive Leadership Team, Finance, Business Technology, and other cross-functional partners to ensure that enterprise strategy translates into action, accountability, and value realization. The VP co-leads Compeer's annual strategic planning process and builds the processes, capabilities, and tools necessary to support execution at scale. This role brings structure, insight, and momentum to strategic initiatives-ensuring Compeer remains agile, future-ready, and positioned for long-term growth. This leader also provides direct management for a portion of the Strategy & Business Development team, helping foster a culture of performance, delivery, and continuous improvement. A typical day:
- Leads strategy execution, aligning roadmaps and initiatives to long-term goals.
- Translates strategic vision into actionable plans with clear milestones and outcomes.
- Ensures integration of strategic initiatives with budgeting, resourcing, and performance tracking.
- Identifies and evaluates growth opportunities including new markets, business models, and ventures.
- Guides evaluation and due diligence of new growth platforms, partnerships, and investments.
- Oversees innovation portfolio management and prioritization in collaboration with business and functional leaders.
- Monitors industry trends and synthesizes internal/external insights to inform enterprise decisions.
- Builds relationships across the Executive Leadership Team to shape Compeer's strategic direction.
- Represents Strategy in enterprise forums and select external engagements.
- Delivers executive and Board-level presentations on strategic priorities and performance.
- Leads, coaches and develops a high-performing Strategy and Business Development team.
- Fosters a team culture of accountability, curiosity, and strategic discipline.
- Supports scaling of team tools, operating rhythms, and best practices.
The skills and experience we prefer you have:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. MBA, preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in strategy, business development, transformation, or business operations.
- Minimum of 7 years in a general management or profit and loss owning role required.
- Deep experience in strategic planning, initiative execution, and enterprise performance management.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional transformations and growth initiatives.
- Strong capability in navigating complexity, aligning stakeholders, and driving change.
- Experience managing or supporting technology strategy and transformation programs.
- Skilled at translating strategy into operating plans, KPIs, and actionable outcomes.
- Familiarity with agriculture, financial services, or rural markets is a plus.
- Adept at influencing senior executives and building credibility across functions.
- Brings strong business judgment, agility, and resilience in a dynamic environment.

- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team - providing coaching and support while setting high standards of excellence and leading by example.

The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
Base Pay $164,400 - $251,000 USD
