As an Associate Sales Representative, you take pride in representing our Microsurgery division at Baxter. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of surgical products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. You enjoy being on location, building relationships, and establishing trust with the doctors and nurses who use Baxter solutions every day.

As a primary connection to the healthcare professionals who rely on our products to save and sustain lives, you are the face and voice of our solutions. You promote our microsurgical reconstruction products and services in an assigned geography to meet customer's clinical and economic needs. You enjoy allowing surgical teams across a multitude of specialties, the freedom to innovate and think creatively without restraint in the operating room.

We are seeking individuals who take personal accountability for achieving results and has the ability to "win" at each stage of the customer's buying process! Are you ready to become a subject matter authority in our Microsurgery portfolio?

What you'll be doing:

  • Understanding all products, surgical specialties and devices within the GEM microsurgical portfolio
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all GEM customers by covering surgical cases with existing surgeons and communicating outcomes, changes, and opportunities to the Region Manager (RM) and/or Regional Sales Specialist (RSS)
  • Monitoring and reporting to RSS and RM on a frequent basis the inventory levels at assigned accounts and building relationships with inventory hospital staff
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting in-place equipment and conducting reconstructive based education in-services for both OR and SPD staff on a frequent basis
  • Working autonomously to achieve established goals, while proactively communicating with management and RSS. Daily communication with RSS is encouraged to ensure rep professional growth is constant
  • Understanding the industry and marketplace, including competition and can strategically apply this knowledge optimally to achieve business goals
  • Handling any broad duties within the area(s) as defined by the RSS or RM. May be required to work outside primary assignments. Attending Local society tradeshow(s), micro surgical skills labs are examples

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience OR 4+ years of relevant sales or operating room environment experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Prior b2b or b2c sales experience strongly preferred
  • At least 75% travel is required throughout state of Florida. May involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel. Must have a valid driver's license
  • Individuals must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate to it. Familiarity with posted territory is strongly desire
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred but not required.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $52,800 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for commission.
