The Edw. C. Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Mill Materials Management location in Calvert City, KY. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for daily support functions essential to managing rail, trucking and or barge. Pay: $25.00+ based on experience Shift/Schedule: Days, Monday-Friday (some evening and weekends) Benefits Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs Student Loan Repayment Program Employee Referral Program Responsibilities The Logistics Coordinator will: Create accurate bill of lading and release EDI instructions for rail shipments Trace and track shipments from origin to destination daily Track cars that are bad ordered/lost with railroad or plant Maintain records and generate reports for leadership Assist in responding to any accidents, spills, or maintenance issues following company policies Provide daily trace reports of all rail movements to leadership Provide inbound rail car reports to each location weekly Ticket material shipments from third party sites Notice all shipments in customer system Maintain records of rail car shipments and ticketing Assist sites with rail car needs and ordering Provide bill of ladings to customers Track load frequency of private cars Performs other duties as assigned by Manager Skills The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Knowledge of Microsoft Office products Knowledge of Asset Management System May be required to work evenings and weekends depending on business needs May be required to travel for training opportunities or support business needs To Apply Please submit a resume.
