Summary of Role:
Collaboratively partner with members of sales, operations, secondary, and closing staff to ensure all required disclosures are accounted for and delivered within defined timelines
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Knowledgeable in Changes of Circumstance with oversight. Knowledgeable in all loan programs that the mortgage company offers, including the different disclosure and system requirements for each program.
Audit, verify, and ensure that mortgage disclosures are accurate and comply with regulation timelines. Liaise with sales, settlement, operations, and secondary staff as necessary to validate fees associated with the applied mortgage transaction and deliver the corrected disclosures to the consumer. Develop working knowledge of Federal and Multi-State laws and agency disclosure guidelines affecting residential mortgage origination: TILA, REG Z, RESPA, ECOA, FCTA, HMDA. Develop thorough knowledge of Loan Operating System (LOS) system. Review and ensure accuracy and data integrity of required compliance disclosures once change of circumstance is initiated.
Maintain accurate record of communications and/or actions related to disclosing process in the conversation log or admin log of the applicable mortgage loan file. Maintain efficient levels of service and comply with regulatory timelines associated with completion of mortgage loan disclosures. Deliver mortgage loan disclosures in a secure manner within and outside of LOS. Work closely with the Manager, Disclosure Compliance to support daily operations related to the disclosing process and any additional projects as assigned. Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Working knowledge of TRID and other Federal and State Regulations Working knowledge of Ellie Mae Encompass preferred Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Strong mathematical skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Starting Compensation: $17.29 - $20.74/hr., plus a competitive benefits package. Bilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.
