About This Position
Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 5:00am - 2:00pm (Hours may vary slightly) ***This position is located within a jail/correctional facility and would be working around inmates.*** The Warehouse Operation Manager is responsible for all functions of the warehouse including: shipping, receiving, inventory control, administering policies and programs and maintaining supplies for the Distribution center. Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring warehouse is equipped with racking, proper lighting, heat and air, proper work environment and any other warehouse related items.
- Receiving, including quality control.
- Managing the contractor compliance program.
- Supervising and training warehouse personnel.
- Posses full working knowledge of the Keefe Best Business Practices Guide.
- Have an understanding of Keefe Group policies and benefits (attendance, medical, vacation, etc.).
- Work with Warehouse Management to improve labor efficiencies.
- Full working knowledge of inventory controls.
- Manage the hiring of new staff.
- Train new staff on inventory, company policies and procedures.
- Implement policies for credits, damaged product, out of date product and returns.
- Instruct on-site staff on KCN and Facility security/safety procedures, notifying KCN management if there are conflicts with the Facilities policies/procedures.
- Provide follow up training, on-going support and assistance to all on-site staff.
- Establish monthly reports and reporting features.
- Assist in the accuracy and submission of weekly time sheets for payroll for all on-site staff.
- Present information to analyze the profitability, costs and operational issues.
- Prepare weekly status reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
- Preferred Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- DOC ID pass.
Familiarity with inventory management. Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs). - Ability to work in a correctional environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.
