API Automation Test Lead

Location: Hopkins, MN

(Candidate can work out of Minneapolis MN, Dallas TX, Chicago IL, New York NY, SFO CA, Denver CO, Milwaukee WI, Atlanta GA, Cincinnati OH)

Required Qualifications:

* 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Assurance

* 6+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API automation (using Java, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Gradle, Rest Assured, Karate etc.)

* Setup automation framework

* Very strong Interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication

* Working experienced on CI/CD tools

* Expertise in using JIRA and any other test management tools like Quality Center / ALM

* Should have experience working in Banking domain projects.

* Experience in working with Agile based projects.

* Should be able to play lead role by coordinating onsite and offshore resources along with customer communications.

* Work on in-sprint and regression automation.

Roles/Responsibilities:

* Participating in agile ceremonies.

* Coordinate with offshore/onsite teams.

* Co-ordinate with clients and business to collect the requirements.

* Co-ordinate with product manager or owner to clarify the requirements

* Setup automation framework

* Write test plans and cases for in scope requirements/user stories.

* Prepare test data

* Script automation code for candidate test cases

* Execute the automation scripts

* Very strong Interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 06/13/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between [$96,000 - $112,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
