The
Advanced Electrical Sales Representative/Project Manager (AES PSSR/PM) will actively seek new/current customers and markets for Advanced Electrical Modernization opportunities. Influence the sales of parts and service in the field for all applicable product lines. This position will act as a consultant/advisor for the customer.
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Establish a working, professional, positive relationship with customers
- Actively seek new customers and markets for Advanced Electrical Service opportunities with the applicable market segment(s)
- Act as a consultant/advisor for the customer by having a comprehensive and technical understanding of the paralleling systems regardless of the manufacturer
- Influence the sale of parts and service from existing and prospective customers to enhance the client's generator paralleling systems while reducing their risk. Prepare and deliver presentations to effectively close the sale
- Inspect and accurately prepare modernization and repair quotes and present to the customer
- Successfully manage the project from beginning to final client close out. To include:
- Define and manage project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Ensure project materials are accurate as specified and ordered, as well as delivered in a timely, cost effective manner to maximize project profitability
- Effectively communicate relevant project information to all stakeholders
- Maintain open communication, and working relationship, with Sales, Service, Parts, and Rental personnel
- Time management and customer call planning to include; objective of customer call, results, and required follow up
- Maintain knowledge of industry advances through training, forums, and networking, to provide the latest in product technology while reducing client risk
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of three (3) year's industry experience in power generation
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with switchgear required
- Highly organized and motivated- maintain organization, and take ownership, of multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Experience in outside sales and/or project management
- Sales skills - prefer sales experience in related field to include power generation
- College degree
