Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Staffmark is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join a certified repair station in Hot Springs, AR, specializing in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of cargo components and cargo loading systems.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00/hr (Based on Experience)

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Thursday, 10-12 hour days | Occasional Fridays as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and refurbishment of cargo loading system components across various aircraft types.
• Interpret technical manuals, component maintenance manuals (CMM), and overhaul manuals (OHM) to ensure proper repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair parts in compliance with FAA regulations and internal quality standards.
• Conduct functional testing of systems after maintenance or repair work.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized; follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience (aviation experience not required-training provided).
• Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Must bring a complete set of general maintenance hand tools (tool list provided during interview).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a Part 145 repair station preferred.
• A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Certification is a plus!
