Job Title: Aerospace Material Quality Inspector II

Location: North Charleston, SC 29418

Duration: 6 Months assignment

Shift Schedule: First Shift (5:00 AM-1: 30 PM) & Second Shift (1:30 PM-10: 00 PM)

Pay Rate: $46/Hour

Job Description:

  • Assists with review and validation of product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
  • Supports analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes.
  • Participates in the investigation to determine root cause of nonconformance of plans.
  • Gathers data and provides recommendations/solutions to nonconformance of plans, products or processes.
  • Assists with the development, modification and documentation of actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action.
  • Assists in obtaining corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes and submits for review.
  • Supports concurrence and obtains commitments to support program resolution.
  • Participates and observes the validation associated with corrective action to assure nonconformance has been eliminated.
  • Verifies internal replication systems adhere to Company and regulatory standards and procedures. Creates airplane specific airborne software packages.
  • Conducts audits to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements. Works under general supervision.


Required Qualifications:

  • Inventory control experience - dealing with defective parts.
  • Manufacturing experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aviation experience.
  • MRSA experience - Material Review Segregation Area experience.


Education/Experience :

  • Typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).
