Job Title: Design Engineer III - Structural Department: Design Engineering Location(s): Philadelphia, PA, with less than 20% domestic and international travel Summary of Position: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide engineering support to production activity to meet AWPC's safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. This position requires good knowledge of the rotorcraft structural systems as well as the standard aeronautical structural installation design procedures. Daily duties include, but are not limited to, supporting assembly and fabrication of all AWPC helicopter lines, with problem solving in fit/form/function questions and technical issues coordinating the solution within the LH design dept. The Structural Design Engineer III is also responsible for drafting and review of structural installations for helicopter customizations and completions, in compliance with EASA and FAA type certificate regulations, using the applicable design tools (CATIA V4/V5 - VPM/ENOVIA - DBT).
