Location: This is a hybrid (virtual/onsite) position with required onsite days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday assigned to the One Energy Plaza located in Jackson, MI. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify).

General Summary of Job Responsibilities

The ServiceNow Technology Analyst will assist in evaluating and implementing innovative technology solutions, conduct in-depth data analysis to derive insights, and independently troubleshoot moderate to high technical issues. This role may entail extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, ServiceNow configuration, testing for advanced technology solutions, data quality monitoring and automation, report generation and monitoring, implementing process improvements, platform level guidance, and change management implementation. Strong analytical acumen, critical thinking skills, and the ability to provide guidance to lower-level team members are crucial for success in this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Document and provide ServiceNow Platform guidance through processes and standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the ServiceNow platform, implementing best practices and optimizing workflows.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and processes.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the ServiceNow platform effectively.
  • Design, build, distribute, and govern standard and custom/ad-hoc reports via reporting tools; generate and monitor reports.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to research, assess, design, implement, and support moderate complexity projects in partnership with Project Managers, Team Leaders and other SMEs to derive insights.
  • Contributes to system design, configuration, solution testing, debugging/troubleshooting of defects, creates detailed documentation and specification of technical solutions in scope of responsibility.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of data structures, reporting/analytics, and ServiceNow configuration. Broad Knowledge of ServiceNow modules, workflows, and capabilities.
  • Strong analytic acumen and problem solving.
  • Solid understanding of reporting tools, including but not limited to ServiceNow Reporting Tools.
  • Ability to effectively and concisely document and deliver moderate to high complexity technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in designing and executing Testing and Testing Plans for advanced technology solutions.
  • Ability to provide formal and informal guidance to lower-level team members.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Systems or Business with2 years of experience with multiple of: system analysis, design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting/defect resolution, deployment, documentation and operations, including end-user support (service desk). Experience with designing and building low to moderate complexity reports and dashboards preferred. Moderate knowledge of SAP and data automation.Participated in Technology or IT project team(s) responsibility for large scale enhancements or new system implementations preferred, but not required [OR]
  • Assoicate's Degree in Information Technology/Systems or Business with 4 years of experience with multiple of: system analysis, design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting/defect resolution, deployment, documentation and operations, including end-user support (service desk). Experience with designing and building low to moderate complexity reports and dashboards preferred. Moderate knowledge of SAP and data automation.Participated in Technology or IT project team(s) responsibility for large scale enhancements or new system implementations preferred, but not required [OR]
  • High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of experience with multiple of: system analysis, design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting/defect resolution, deployment, documentation and operations, including end-user support (service desk). Experience with designing and building low to moderate complexity reports and dashboards preferred. Moderate knowledge of SAP and data automation.Participated in Technology or IT project team(s) responsibility for large scale enhancements or new system implementations preferred, but not required.
