Overview

The Receptionist role is to support the Co-Generation facility, managing maintenance data collection and information gathering to more effectively provide the maintenance department to obtain equipment capability, availability, and reliability. Supporting the power plant department in all facets of its daily operation.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Responsible for proper operations of fax machines and copiers.
  • Greet and meet visitors to the building and ensure proper ID, and log them into guest book.
  • Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate person according to their needs.
  • Ensure all visitors log in to visitors log book and check ID, create employee's badges
  • Organize PPE for visitors; order lunches as required for staff, visitors and auditors
  • Creating requisitions
  • Collect and distribute Mail
  • Assist HR. Department and employees
  • Maintain a record of radios in use, out for repair etc. Arrange for radios to be repaired
  • Prepare documents for shipment of molasses; distribute reports as required
  • Maintain scheduling and events calendar
  • Make copies of correspondence and other printed material
  • Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material
  • Assist the plant director on any special projects or duties

  • Team player, willing to learn attention to detail, job motivation, Administrative orientation and demonstrate the ability to communicate and work with others. Eager to learn and grow.



ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS



  • High School Diploma and preferably some college
  • Extensive knowledge in MS Word and Excel
  • Organized, Bilingual (Spanish) Excellent Attendance
