Entry Level Welder Operator - 2nd Shift

Compumeric / Bear Saver is seeking a dependable and steady-handed individual to join our fabrication team. This is an entry-level TIG welder position starting with riveting tasks and transitioning into basic non-certified TIG welding after in-house training. This is a great opportunity to grow welding skills in a hands-on environment.

1. Assemble metal parts using rivets as part of the pre-welding process
2. Learn and perform basic TIG welding after initial training period (no certification required)
   
3. Work with steel components
4. Follow verbal instructions and shop floor direction
5. Maintain clean and safe work areas
6. Other duties may be assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.

• Preferred welding certifications

• Prior experience using hand tools, rivet guns, or working in a metal shop preferred
• Willingness to train on TIG welding (must show interest)
• Good hand-eye coordination and steady hands
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours
• Able to pass a basic shop test
  for steadiness, understanding, and interest
