Salary Range: $94,306 - $109,000

Provide analyst capabilities in a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) organization. Directly support Integrated Fire Laboratory (IFL) activities to our F-35 Integrated Product Team (IPT) customer.

Essential Job Functions:

Support IFL activities in support the Advanced Concepts and Prototype and Experimentation for F-35.

Support Test events to include planning, objective definition (measures), developing Design of Experiments (DOE), and setup and execution of test events using organizational modeling and simulation tools.

Analyze test event data to assess the Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), thereby determining overall mission success. Develop quantitative methods to assess the measures and perform event data extraction and assessment.

Analyze test event data to assess Measures of Performance (MOPs), thereby assessing a systems performance characteristics with regards to carrying out the given mission.

Draft and refine Design of Experiment (DOE) based on customer needs.

Run the IFL tool suite to execute a DOE in an M&S based Test and Evaluation (T&E) events and collect relevant data. Quality check resulting data set from a completeness standpoint.

Perform weapon system and system of system performance analysis.

Support and investigate Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) community data collection and analysis tools and make recommendations for future utilization. Identify gaps in tool suite that can be further automated.

Create and review analytical reports for test events. Record discovered limitations, issues, and solutions in the Lessons Learned Database.

Prepare and/or contribute to presentations on program status, accomplishments, problem identification, requirements for support, and promotion of program objectives.

Required Skills

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Associates degree with 10 plus years of relevant engineering experience or a Bachelors degree with 8 plus years of relevant engineering experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Effective communication skills.

Ability to plan, track and communicate status, risks and needs.

Practical experience with F-35 avionics systems functionality.

Understanding and experience with IFL LVC simulation architectures and data collection tools.

Understanding and experience with high-level Naval and DoD mission architectures and kill chains.

Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment. Non-local domestic and foreign travel may be required to attend technical reviews and programmatic meetings.

Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).

Desired Skills:

Top Secret Clearance.

Bachelors degree in associated technical field.
