What you'll own

You'll build and drive smart content strategy and channel marketing programs that tell our brand story while hitting real business goals across the software payments space. This role bridges thought leadership with practical partner engagement-creating standout digital content experiences that connect with partners at every stage, from first contact through activation and cross-selling our full product lineup.

As both big-picture thinker and hands-on creator, you'll develop compelling content for various digital channels while working across teams to make sure our content strategy supports broader marketing aims. We need someone who really gets audience needs-spotting content gaps, keeping an eye on trends, and recommending smart shifts to boost engagement and conversion, all while collaborating with business leaders, product marketing, and go-to-market teams.

You'll take complex payment tech concepts and turn them into engaging thought leadership and digital experiences that establish us as industry experts while keeping partners interested and involved. You'll need great editorial judgment, storytelling skills, and the ability to create content that naturally connects to our value proposition.

We want a content strategist who combines creative thinking with business smarts-someone who can design content that both engages partners and delivers on concrete KPIs. The right person brings 7+ years of content strategy experience in B2B tech marketing (ideally in payments or fintech), with the vision to plan and the skills to create partner-focused content that drives business growth through digital excellence.

  • Work with Senior Director to execute on the overarching content strategy and thought leadership initiatives
  • Craft interesting, well-researched content to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers, and improve shared content across social media channels; content includes blogs, podcasts, eBooks, white papers, customer content, webinars, presentations, interactive microsites, etc.
  • Design immersive digital content experiences that guide partners through their customer journey while showcasing our expertise
  • Serve as a strategic storyteller with the ability to capture "Worldpay for Platforms" voice, using our differentiators to help us stand out in market
  • Develop thought leadership content that positions our brand as an industry authority within the payments ecosystem
  • Partner cross-functionally to execute on a content calendar that supports the sales process and aligns with overarching growth goals
  • Keep web content up-to-date by leveraging SEO best practices and partnering with digital marketing, product marketing, sales and creative to test/update new content
  • Edit, proofread and improve content created by other team members
  • Support social media strategy by aligning social and content calendars
  • Monitor content performance and make data-informed recommendations to increase conversions and other performance metrics
  • Create content frameworks and templates that enable consistent messaging across partner touchpoints
  • Stay up-to-date with content developments in the market and generate new ideas to draw the attention of our desired audience
  • Identify emerging content formats and channels to reach payment technology decision-makers
  • Provide guidance on content that is sent to employees, prospects, customers and partners
  • Transform complex product features into compelling value narratives tailored to different partner segments
  • Collaborate with relevant vendors and/or freelancers as needed
  • Conduct content audits to identify gaps and opportunities in current partner-facing materials
  • Build measurement frameworks to track content effectiveness across the buying journey

What you bring

Basic:

  • Bachelor's degree - preferably Marketing, Business Management, PR, Communications, Journalism
  • 7+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing, partner marketing or related field
  • Understanding of partner relationships in a B2B environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong negotiation and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and inter-personal communication skills
  • Experience developing and implementing campaigns that drive adoption
  • Comfortable jumping in where needed and working independently and efficiently to collaborate across teams
  • Able to efficiently problem-solve as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs, project management systems

Preferred:

  • Experience in payments industry is a plus
  • Understanding of software payments, PayFac-as-a-service, PayFac and/or financial technology, industry trends, and funding developments
  • Experience working with copywriting, design, production, and field/digital/content/product marketing teams
  • Understanding on how to use brand messaging, product marketing, campaign messages and tweak for a partner audience
  • Efficiently prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Innovative problem-solving ability

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $133,900.00 - $224,900.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.This position is eligible for bonus. The job duties outlined above may be directly, and negatively impacted by a criminal history, which could lead to the withdrawal of a conditional offer.
