Administrative Chair - Nursing Job Locations

Overview Provide academic leadership for the growth and development of academic programs in nursing and nursing assistant programs. Responsible for the hiring, supervision and evaluation of all faculty teaching in department programs. Supervise the department staff and manage the department's course schedules, enrollments, budgets, facilities and equipment. Responsible for the ongoing College processes of student learning assessment, program evaluation, program review and continuous quality improvement for all department programs. Build community relationships and partnerships to support and enhance the success and effectiveness of department programs. This position will be open until filled, with a first review date of June 16, 2025. After this date, the recruitment may close without further notice. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Responsibilities Leadership of nursing and nursing assistant programs, which include:
Maintaining College quality standards and practices related to academic course offering sequence, program pathways, advising and graduation requirements.
Teach courses in the Chair's professional area of qualification (up to 50% of assigned workload). These duties include:
Foster a commitment to inclusive excellence among faculty, staff and students in the delivery of the nursing and nursing assistant programs. These duties include leading regular department meetings as needed to foster open communication and developing and maintaining a climate of collegiality and teamwork within the department faculty and staff.
