Title: Project Engineer
Location: Niagara Falls, NY
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 plus additional bonus
Schedule: 9/80; 5-8s schedule available

Focus: The Project Engineer will lead DCS migration/integration and Electrical Infrastructure projects, ensuring capital projects-up to $10MM-are completed within cost, schedule, and performance targets. Responsibilities include equipment upgrades and expansions in existing chemical manufacturing plants.
Project Engineer Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and justify Capital Projects, including scope, schedule, and cost estimates for funding approval.
- Define project scope with input from engineering, maintenance, safety, environmental, and manufacturing teams.
- Collaborate with procurement to request proposals, evaluate bids, and select vendors for best value.
- Oversee construction, fabrication, and installation contracts to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage project resources for efficient design, engineering, and construction coordination.
- Ensure technical accuracy by reviewing drawings, specifications, and equipment inquiries.
- Support safety, operational goals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Engineer Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree* in Engineering; Chemical or Electrical preferred.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in project/manufacturing roles (10+ years preferred); chemical industry experience preferred.
- Expertise in DCS, electrical infrastructure, manufacturing equipment, and instrumentation.
- Ability to lead project teams, coordinate resources, and work independently.
- Familiarity with industrial and process safety standards (NEC, NFPA, IEC, ISA) and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with SAP and computerized project management systems preferred.
- Occasional travel (Up to 10%) may be required.
- Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.
