Job Description Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager or Assistant Director, this role oversees a designated logistics area, focusing on tissue and implant management, inventory control, replenishment, and cycle counts. The goal is to establish an efficient, lean supply support system that meets the needs of clinical areas within OSUWMC. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform real-time inventory transfers of tissues and implants between operating rooms (ORs).
- Manage consignment, tissue, implants, trunk stock amp; other medical supplies.
- Ensure traceability and strict adherence to Tecsys SMS documentation and receiving standards.
- Maintain consistency in ordering and billing processes to prevent duplicate or inaccurate charges.
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards.
- Manage and stock supply inventory in designated supply chain areas.
- Sustain day-to-day operations of the Procedural Storeroom.
- Develop queries to support leadership in making data-driven decisions on inventory and staffing.
- Assist managers in analyzing purchase history to resolve complex supply issues.
- Manage and facilitate backorder resolution by communicating with vendors.
- Maintain and update the two-bin Kanban inventory system.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management, Business administration, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance OR equivalent experience and 2 years of healthcare, supply chain, data analytics, or operations experience with perpetual inventory management.
