Your role at Vantive

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Fleet Routing Manager to optimize the routing and scheduling of our Vantive's fleet of vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of 16 routing specialists and 3 analysts. Managers will also be influential in developing and implementing efficient routing strategies to optimize equipment utilization, effectively manage costs, and improve home patient experience.

Your team

Route Optimization

  • Analyze and optimize fleet KPIs including but not limited to routes to maximize service specialist (Drover) hours of service, optimize mileage, and improve delivery times.
  • Collaborate with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure that routes are feasible and meet customer requirements.

Route Planning and Scheduling

  • Monitor team's routes daily, weekly, and monthly delivery schedules.
  • Develop and implement procedures to handle last-minute changes and exceptions.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze fleet performance data, including but not limited to cases on fleet, route stops, daily vs overnight runs.
  • Develop and maintain reports to track fleet performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management and other stakeholders to improve fleet operations.

Fleet Management Software

  • Manage fleet management software including route optimization tools and supplemental systems.
  • Ensure that the software is up-to-date and functions properly.
  • Provide training and support to drivers and dispatchers on software usage.

Customer Service

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their delivery requirements and preferences.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure that customer and home patient needs are met and exceeded.
  • Respond to customer care inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in fleet routing or another transportation field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software.
  • Experience with fleet routing software, such as Solera (Roadnet).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Hours of Service and DOT Regulations.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel or Tableau.
  • Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interaction with dispatchers, customer service, Supply Chain leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work onsite at Vantive's Deerfield Headquarters 2-3 days a week.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $104,000 to $143,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
