You Are:

A seasoned front-end developer with a passion for building high-performance, scalable web applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks. You combine technical expertise with strategic thinking, and you're confident mentoring junior engineers while delivering on complex development tasks. You embrace agile ways of working, value clean code, and are eager to contribute to a collaborative and inclusive development culture.

The Work:

As a Senior React Developer within our Cloud Innovation Center, you'll help design and deliver cloud-native applications with cutting-edge front-end technologies. Using Lean XP (eXtreme Programming), pair programming, and Test Driven Development (TDD), you'll deliver high-quality software that drives real business value for our clients.

  • Leading the development of responsive, accessible, and scalable React applications.
  • Mentoring and pairing with junior developers to foster growth and ensure code quality.
  • Translating business and design requirements into performant user interfaces.
  • Driving the adoption of best practices in React architecture, state management, and testing.
  • Integrating front-end solutions with cloud-based back-end services and APIs.
  • Contributing to design discussions, architecture decisions, and sprint planning.
  • Building and maintaining reusable component libraries and design systems.
  • Ensuring cross-browser compatibility, security, and front-end performance optimization.

This is a hybrid role and will require 3 days per week in the office. The primary hiring location is Columbus, OH but may consider qualified applicants in Tampa, FL.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of front-end development experience, with at least 3 years focused on React.js
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS3
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Java for back-end integration and service development
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and deploying cloud-native applications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Karate and Selenium.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum of 12 years of work experience); if Associate's Degree, must have minimum of 6 years of equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps environments.
  • Familiarity with containerize applications and deployment using Dockers, Kubernetes, Azure AKS.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design
  • Prior experience in mentoring or leading front-end development teams.
  • Azure, AWS, or GCP certification is a plus.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
