What this job involves - The Instrumentation Coordinator will be responsible for managing, calibrating, and maintaining various instrumentation systems across our facilities. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all equipment meets safety standards and operates at peak efficiency. This position requires someone who can balance technical expertise with strong communication skills to maintain the reliability and accuracy of critical instrumentation systems.

What is the day to day?

  • Review instrument calibration schedules monthly and coordinate shipments for vendor maintenance and/or calibration.
  • Coordinate instrument/equipment pick up with maintenance schedulers, area owners and end users.
  • Coordinate instrument/equipment maintenance/calibration with vendors.
  • Organize the shipment of instruments and/or equipment to various vendors and client sites.
  • Package instruments/equipment to prevent damage during shipping.
  • Maintain CMMS work orders related to equipment including documentation and notes on activity.
  • Receive instruments/equipment upon return from service and return to area owners or end users.
  • Ensure maintenance and service reports are received from the vendors and prepare documents for review.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with procedures.
  • Work with administration, coordinators, technicians, vendors on RMA's and PO's.
  • Available to do walk downs with vendors on behalf of client team when necessary.
  • Maintain all training assignments for compliance within group.
  • Complete GMP documentation and follow applicable standard operating procedures
  • Seek outside resources as needed to solve problems and/or create methods to avoid failures in the future.

Desired experience and technical skills -

Required

  • Experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences working in a cGMP environment.
  • An ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and lift 35 pounds
  • Strong client service orientation; proactive working style and friendly, helpful attitude - Commitment to high professional ethical standards
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas through verbal and written form
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 including Excel, Outlook, and ability to work across multiple web based platforms
  • Interact constructively with peers/teams to achieve goals and assigned tasks.

Preferred

  • Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System - Maximo)

Estimated total compensation for this position:

48,000.00 - 58,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
