IRS is searching for 1 FTE Marketing Management Support to help Indiana's Work For Warriors Program.

The Marketing Management Specialist supports the Indiana National Guard's (INNG) Employment and Community Services programs by providing comprehensive marketing, administrative, and automation services. This role involves community networking with partners such as AWC, IRC, GYF, Alumni, and Military Commands; maintaining detailed documentation, schedules, and correspondence; and preparing and reviewing a variety of reports and documents. The specialist supports employment events, develops training plans, administers follow-up placements, and assists with marketing strategies to connect service members, veterans, and families to employment opportunities. The position also entails database management, trend analysis, regulatory research, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and comfortable managing electronic filing systems such as SharePoint.
  • Strong experience in database management, reporting, and tracking tools for employment and outreach programs.
  • Ability to draft and edit professional correspondence, reports, and standard operating procedures with strong attention to grammar and formatting.


Communication & Interpersonal Skills:



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to network and build relationships with community partners, employers, and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across various teams and organizations including the military and public sectors.
  • Skilled in maintaining communication logs and responding to service member and family inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.


Organizational & Analytical Abilities:



  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and follow-up actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct performance reviews, analyze trends, and support program development through data-driven insights.
  • Familiarity with government regulations, procurement/finance processes, and employment qualification standards is a plus.
