Lead and manage the development and execution of event marketing strategies for Providers and Premier related initiatives and programs on behalf of the enterprise and the lines of business (LOBs) to ensure maximum growth and market exposure.
Lead the event marketing team to perform strategic event marketing and communications planning and execution for Provider Solutions and Premier Define and elevate the guest experience through new and innovative opportunities for all Provider and Premier events including SEE annual sales meeting, SHiFT annual Premier meeting, national trade shows Vision Expo East, Vision Expo West, SECO, Doctor Groups, and regional industry events Develop and oversee the Doctor Group strategy, including campaigns, promotions, advertising, educational content, and events to increase awareness and drive growth for the Premier program and doctor network, Develop and oversee educational workshops for Premier Academy360, including hosted workshops, in-practice workshops, and workshop integration at industry events Develop and maintain industry partnerships with key associations, media, Premier partners and suppliers to ensure cohesive and effective delivery for all events Provide marketing shared services that meet business partner needs and balance the overall needs of the organization. Continue to refine and expand the suite of services as well as service level agreements, resource management, and mutual expectations regarding deliverables Work closely with segment teams, LOBs, and Creative Solutions to ensure top-notch brand representation and associated visuals at industry events, ensuring business strategy alignment and results Oversee the analysis of event metrics to ensure maximum results and provide recommendations for improved ROI Establish and manage the event department budget and monitor expenses to ensure costs are within established levels; report regularly to the manager regarding project status, team activities, training opportunities, staffing issues, and progress toward achieving established metrics Establish and cultivate relationships across the organization to maximize collaboration, learning, and integration Engage in staff development as well as actively participate on the Marketing Management team and cross-LOB strategy teams Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of direct reports Demonstrated creativity and knowledge of community and industry resources and opportunities Advanced understanding of brand management concepts and building/execution techniques Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that cut across multiple businesses with many stakeholders Eyecare industry or product branding experience Initiative negotiating skills to manage through the grey space and transition Project management experience Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Practical knowledge and experience in event marketing Ability to work with individuals from all levels of the organization Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties Preferred Skills Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement, with an ability to synthesize awareness and respect for the needs of multiple audiences. In-depth experience tracking and analyzing event impact to measure ROI and optimize future strategies. Passionate and intentional leader, skilled at nurturing talent and building impactful teams, known for delivering high-impact customer experiences. Proven success developing and executing event strategies that increase brand awareness and deliver measurable business outcomes. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses and commissions.
