Masen, a Koch owned and operated IoT services startup, is seeking a Field Operations Director to join our growing team. The Field Operations Superintendent will be responsible for managing and overseeing IOT project installations, maintenance activities and unplanned event responses on IOT monitoring devices at industrial sites across the country.

The location for this role is preferably in the Atlanta, Dallas or Charlotte areas but is open to remote candidates in any U.S. location. This position requires travel of approximately 60% to industrial sites across the U.S. depending on location.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and own the entirety of Masen's nation-wide field operations, driving excellence and accountability across all projects and activities.
  • Oversee and manage Masen Field Operations technicians, fostering a high-performing team through recruitment, training, mentorship, and hands-on guidance.
  • Manage and validate the work conducted by 3rd party contractors, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency are consistently met.
  • Actively support the Masen Commercial Team by managing customer communications related to field operations, enhancing customer satisfaction and trust.
  • Sign-off and ensure validation of all in-field work, maintaining accurate documentation and upholding compliance and operational standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Business Operations Team to align schedules, contractor quotes, and team workflows with strategic timelines and goals.
  • Be an active leader, willing to work side-by-side with your team in the field when necessary to ensure success and demonstrate commitment.
  • Drive operational excellence by owning the outcomes and productivity of the field operations team, delivering measurable impact across the country.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in overseeing the installation, in-field work, and maintenance of IoT or advanced monitoring systems within industrial facilities.
  • Knowledge of industrial infrastructure, installation methodologies, E&I, as well as adherence to rigorous industrial safety standards.
  • Experience supporting, developing, and executing comprehensive project schedules.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage the execution of work activities at a national scale.
  • Experience in leading and managing industrial contractors.
  • Must be willing to travel and have the ability to work in industrial settings.
