We're seeking a Security Architect to design and develop robust security architectures across Cloud, Hybrid, and On-Prem environments. In this critical role, you'll collaborate with software, systems, and network engineers to fortify our security posture while driving secure development, risk management, and compliance initiatives.

As a key player in our team, you'll be instrumental in application security, cloud security, and threat modeling, proactively identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risks. This role may be worked remotely within the United States.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Develops a deep understanding of security requirements of our software stack, corporate IT environment by working with software development, IT, and cloud teams to ensure secure architecture principles are integrated into new and existing systems.
  • Conducts comprehensive threat modeling techniques to evaluate risks and provide recommendations to strengthen security across applications and infrastructure.
  • Leads secure software design supporting secure CI/CD pipeline implementation and best practices for cloud-native FinTech platforms.
  • Review and assess security requirements for APIs, microservices, and containerized environments.
  • Identifies current and future risks to the ecosystem and create action plans to mitigate threats.
  • Conducts security research, staying up to date on Cybersecurity trends and advances and performs analysis to inform strategic security decisions.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of regulatory and control frameworks such as NIST 800 series publications, BSIMM, SAMM and supports regulatory and audit requirements by implementing controls aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other industry standards.
  • Conducts comprehensive security assessments of third-party vendors and cloud services to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, PSD2, and NIST frameworks.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, architecture, or engineering with an emphasis on cloud security and secure software development.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of web application security (OWASP Top 10), API security, and access control models.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and security automation.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working in FinTech, banking, or payment security environments.
  • Knowledge of cryptography, IAM, fraud detection, and secure transaction processing.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint security tools.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, AWS/Azure Security Architect.
