Job Scope
We are seeking a dynamic, transformational leader to join our team as the Senior Director of Corporate Tools. This role is integral to driving innovative leadership and motivation, essential for IT to meet strategic objectives that support Visa's business needs. You will play a critical role in fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation, delivering tools solutions that meet or exceed customer and stakeholder expectations. This involves shaping business requirements to optimally leverage technology teams in alignment with Visa's 2030 goals. This role demands strategic vision to develop clear tools rationalization and modernization plans, and drive employee productivity through the adoption of GenAI and Automation.
As a leader, you will provide thought and people leadership to identify and execute actions required for successful delivery of Visa's strategic priorities. You must be adept at engaging and challenging senior audiences, prioritizing actions, and navigating a highly matrixed, global environment.

- Provide subject matter expertise and manage external and internal collaboration projects.
- Ensure change management best practices are followed for organizational initiatives.
Strategy and Implementation:
- Develop and execute technology strategies and roadmaps to meet business objectives with existing and/or emerging technologies in Corporate Tools.
- Partner with Corporate Technology Support, CIT Product and Engineering teams, Cyber and Operations, and Infrastructure teams on the technical strategy for next-generation cloud solutions to support HR business processes.
- Collaborate with executive management to define priorities, direction, and timelines.
- Develop an integration strategy to ensure a cohesive user interface with a single source for information that adheres to our corporate integration strategy.
- Coordinate with functional and technical staff to lead system-related projects and initiatives such as new system functionality and/or new technologies.
- Provide leadership and oversight to large transformational programs across many functional teams, including third-party vendors.
- Keep executive management informed of progress and obstacles through status reports, presentations, etc.
- Provide workforce plans, budget development, tracking, and forecasting. Manage the team to achieve target scope, schedule, and cost objectives.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 15+ years of relevant work experience with increasing responsibility growing and leading high-performance teams and directing the IT function.
- Extensive experience with corporate and packaged applications in organizations with over 5000 employees.
- Experience deploying enterprise resource planning (ERP) level applications in global corporations.
- The ability to take ownership of complex, multi-faceted, open-ended problems and drive them to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with customer-service orientation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly master new systems and processes.
- Natural collaborator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership behaviors in team management, customer communications, and interactions with peers, senior leadership, and potential clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead global, multi-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technology strategy to diverse audiences in non-technical language.
- Ability to drive consensus across diverse, global technology, and business partners.
- Sound judgment, high ethical standards, and the ability to work effectively with others at all levels.
- ITIL, Six Sigma, or Agile development experience desired.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM Tool.
- Proven track record of driving change and transformation in network operations.
- Experience in leading enterprise technology and cultural transformation programs.
- Demonstrated understanding of tools and technologies and metrics-driven management.
- Strong conviction to drive things to closure with a high sense of ownership, low ego, and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and independent judgment.
- Strong experience in providing exceptional customer service and supporting business continuity planning.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
