The Assistant Manager - Access: primarily manages the scheduling function of the team by implementing standards systems and processes to improve the patient and referring physician access and clinician satisfaction with scheduling activities across the Health System. The Assistant Manager ensures the scheduling team and unit meet or exceed performance standards focused on patient and referring physician access correct provider and capture of pre-appointment medical records referrals patient demographic insurance and other relevant financial information.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelors Degree preferred. Experience: 3 years of medical background in outpatient/ambulatory setting. Licensure: None required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
