Our next Full-Time Cultivation Supervisor will be a key player in executing crop production tasks and overseeing a team to ensure we are executing the company's Standard Operating Procedures for indoor cultivation.

Environmental Factors:
    • This position requires working in an environment that has a high amount of plant matter and pollen. Areas of the facility reach high/low temperatures with high humidity levels. Employees may have exposure to conditions such as dust, plant matter, and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or skin, depending on department job assignments. Employees are required to wear protective gear and have the option to wear eye and ear protection. Certain areas of the facility use harsh chemicals for cleaning such as bleach and can have repetitive movements. Employees should be comfortable and capable of working under all of the above conditions.
Physical Requirements:
    • Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50lbs
    • Capable of sitting, standing kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods of time
    • Capable of using hands and fingers to touch, handle, feel and pick
    • Ability to work with hazardous chemicals (butane, propane, etc.) following strict safety guidelines
    • Utilize chemicals (such as bleach) to clean and maintain facility/equipment
    • Must wear PPE (clothing protection), close-toed non-slip shoes, and optional ear/eye protection
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Directs, monitors, and assists with all greenhouse operations under discretion of Cultivation Managers.
    • Plans, coordinates, and assists with job planning.
    • Direct and supervise cultivation crew leads and cultivation technicians in production and greenhouse operations.
    • Implements safe work procedures in greenhouse and field operations.
    • Develop, coach, and consistently execute TerrAscend's Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Plan, organize and direct the production of live goods which ensuring the most effective
    • Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective
    • Assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while insuring product
    • Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports
    • Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for
    • Improve manpowerutilization within existing departments and processes
    • Prioritize schedule on a daily basis and communicate to team
    • Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employees' positive involvement with opportunity for constructive input and action
    • Conduct routine maintenance on production equipment
    • Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical and safety attitudes
    • Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas
    • Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest production and production management concepts
    • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
    • EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
    • Must be 21 years of age or older
    • 4-year degree, helpful but not required
    • Two years of experience in greenhouse, arboriculture, horticulture, or related field.
    • Knowledge of Cannabis products a plus, but not required.
    • QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Exceptional multi-tasking skills
    • High energy level required
    • Strong leadership, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
    • Ability to be flexible with work schedule to meet the business needs including weekends and holidays
$60,000 - $65,000 a year
The salary range included is for the base compensation and is not inclusive of any variable compensation that can be earned in addition to the base salary. Our range is based on experience, skillsets, and overall fit for the role
